So this is a little off topic but I'm getting spring fever up here in New York. I'm looking out my window today and its snowing so I figured I'd post about some baseball to make me a little warm and fuzzy. I read a little article in the New York Post today about the New York Yankee's (the best sports organization that ever existed) top pitching prospect (and in fact, the top pitching prospect in all of baseball), Philip Hughes. He reminds Jason Giambi of a young Roger Clemens.

He probably won't see the major leagues this year as he's only 20, but he has dominated every league he's been in, which is up to double A. He's 6-5, big boned and has great location. I think he, along with the Yankee's other slew of pitching prospects (thanks to our trade of that big giraffe, Randy Johnson), signals an impending return of our dynasty. By the way, we judge dynasties by World Series titles in Yankeeland, not playoff appearances. Take that, Braves and Twins.

Have a great Wednesday.
